ProGlove Survey: Peak Holiday Season – Managing Through Uncertainty

Learnings from the 2022 peak holiday season

It seems as if no peak season was marked with as much uncertainty as the peak season of 2022. Excess inventory and forecasting demand were among the top concerns for the warehousing industry. This survey report explores the most critical issues warehouse and logistics business had to address.

• Only 12% of the warehouse professionals we interviewed stated they were very prepared for the busiest time of the year.
• Only 15% or the respondents said they had no issues with inventory.
• Learn what can be done to adequately prepare for 2023 and beyond.

This survey of 650 warehouse professionals from across the UK, USA and Germany was undertaken between November 17th and December 14th, with 62% of respondents from the UK, 34% from the US and 3% from Germany. Of those surveyed 19% were entry level, 31% were intermediate, 28% were team leaders/supervisors, 18% were managers, with the remaining 2% Directors & C-Level.
