Pierre Mikaelsson Appointed CPO of ProGlove

Seasoned executive brings more than 15 years of experience in technology management

 

CHICAGO and MUNICH, March 12, 2024 – ProGlove has a new Chief Product Officer (CPO). Pierre Mikaelsson will oversee product creation effective immediately. He follows after Ilhan Kolko, who left the wearable tech pioneer late in 2023.

 

Pierre Mikaelsson joined ProGlove after serving as Executive Vice President and Head of R&D at Nilfisk, a global provider of professional cleaning equipment. Before his tenure at Nilfisk, Mikaelsson was the CTO of Kuka in China. He began his career at ABB. Pierre Mikaelsson previously served as ABB Robotics Global Technology Manager (CTO), overseeing global technology and R&D efforts in the robotics business unit. With over 25 years of product creation experience, including over 15 years in leadership roles, he has worked in five countries:  Sweden, China, Germany, the USA, and Denmark. Mikaelsson earned a Master of Science degree from Chalmers University of Technology.
