ProGlove Appoints Petteri Saarinen as New Chairman to Drive Next Phase of Growth

Saarinen’s Leadership Signals Continued Expansion and Innovation in Industrial Wearables
CHICAGO and MUNICH, February 21, 2025 – ProGlove, a global leader in wearable solutions for enhancing human-centred productivity, today announced the appointment of Petteri Saarinen as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Saarinen, a highly experienced industrial technology leader, will help steer ProGlove’s continued growth as the company expands its portfolio of smart workforce solutions and deepens its global footprint.
With a career spanning industrial solutions and systems, business transformation, and international market expansion, Saarinen brings a wealth of expertise in scaling technology-driven businesses. As Chairman of Autocirc and Oy Verman Ab, he successfully led strategic growth initiatives, operational optimization, and sustainability-driven expansion. His tenure at Nordic Capital as an Industrial Advisor further solidified his track record in value creation, performance improvement, and M&A. His experience will be instrumental as ProGlove continues to scale and evolve its wearable intelligence solutions.
Beyond board leadership, Saarinen has held CEO roles at Marioff and LEDiL, where he drove global expansion, strengthened market positioning, and navigated successful private equity-backed exits. His deep understanding of connected workforce solutions, digital transformation, and industrial automation makes him a natural fit to guide ProGlove’s innovation strategy and accelerate its mission of empowering frontline workers.
“ProGlove has built a strong foundation in wearable intelligence, helping businesses optimize their workforce operations,” said Petteri Saarinen. “I want to thank Ken for his leadership and contributions as Chairman over the past years. I now look forward to working alongside Stefan and the ProGlove team to drive future success, foster innovation in industrial wearables, and help our customers achieve their goals.”
Stefan Lampa, CEO of ProGlove, welcomed Saarinen’s appointment, stating: “Petteri’s leadership experience in industrial technology and his expertise in strategic growth and innovation will be invaluable as we continue expanding ProGlove’s impact in connected workforce solutions. I also want to thank Ken for his support during my transition into ProGlove and for his contributions to the company’s development. Together, we will build on our momentum and drive the next phase of innovation for our customers worldwide.”
As part of this board transition, Ken Allen will be stepping down as Chairman, and Helena Holmgren will be leaving the Board to take on a full-time management role. ProGlove extends its deepest gratitude to both Ken and Helena for their significant contributions in advancing the company’s vision of ‘putting people first for a safe, healthy, and hyper-efficient workplace.’
Under their leadership, ProGlove sharpened its strategic focus, helping frontline workers and managers work more efficiently with intuitive, user-friendly tools. Their guidance has been instrumental in securing an impressive roster of Fortune 500 customers, including leading automotive manufacturers, North American food retailers, European postal and parcel organizations, and global fashion brands.
